The above photograph is of the Iranian actress Golshifte Farahani who appears to have a very well defined jawline that, though soft and gracile beneath her prominent cheek bones, can easily become more defined and squared as she ages and loses facial fat.
What I love about this site is that it shows so many different square jawed women from different ethnic groups, from different angles in photographs, and even at different ages. Women change in so many ways and look so different in so many different contexts that beauty sometimes becomes more than a matter of angles or sizes but more so proportions and how harmonious a certain set of features are in relation to each other. It kind of leads me to the question as to how square a jaw really has to be in order to be considered square especially when there are so many examples of beautiful square jawed women presented on this site that look so different from one another?
Also, if one has a liking for squared jaws does the logic follow that the more square the jaw the better, or for those who like regressive jawlines, the more regressive the better? Or are there a lot of overlaps in between these preferences?
From certain angles Aishwarya Rai also appears to have a square jaw though in one Indian link it is described as distinctly oval while Kareena Kapoor is used as the square example. Indeed, upon comparison, Kareena Kapoor can be more easily described as having a square jaw than Aishwarya Rai.
Personally, I like a jawline that is very well defined, chiseled, and in harmony with the rest of the facial features including cheekbones, mouth/lips, nose, and eyes/the placement thereof, forehead, and of course eyebrows atop a long, smooth swanlike neck. Im interested in knowing more about other people's preferences?
Beneath Golshifte Farahani's picture I have posted a picture of Charlize Theron who has a much smaller less projecting jawline at an even older age that is harmonious with her less pronounced cheekbones, but beautiful nonetheless. Lastly, there is Keira Knightly whose cheekbones and jawline are the most pronounced and also in perfect harmony with the rest of the features. Can it not be said that all 3 women have facial features that are equally harmonious and pleasing to the eye? All 3 women are posing in similar manner with their heads slightly tilted up.
I think some other great subjects that can be looked into and explored in this site for women like me who fall into the square jaw category and have typically prominent facial features such as pronounced cheekbones would be how our faces change from childhood and as we age and what would be some great methods for bringing out the most beautiful look for this type of facial structure. Perhaps, we can explore the advantages of certain facial exercises, creams, cosmetics, and facial treatments that will keep our skin toned while still retaining a soft youthful appearance along those prominent bony regions.
Just a suggestion. All thoughts and ideas are welcome.

a square jaw is defined by the jaw plane, the triangle between the chin point and jaw angles.
The more horizontal and parallel when compared to the floor plane, the squarer the jaw gonial angles. From frontal view, this closer the angles of the jaw to the chin, the squarer.
Square jawed women are "horizontal growers".
It's hard to tell at what point precisely a woman would qualify for this site.... perfect square jaw gonial is 90 degres, so anything close would fit.
On the contrary, "long faced" women, are more "vertical growers" because their jaw plan forms a steep angle when compared to the floor plane. I consider the long face to be of a lesser standard than horizontal growers. This site is not an absolute science, tastes may vary between individuals.

When I take the examples of women breasts, it all become more clearer.
I love big breast on women. But do big breasts only makes a person attractive to me ? Certainly not. It's similar for the square jaw: I find it very attractive by itself, and I consider women with it as a superior standard, but this doesn't mean that ALL women with square square jaws are attractive for me. This is where the harmony, proportions come into play.
There are ugly, unattractive women with a square jaw, and beautiful women with the square jaw as well as very attractive women with recessing jaw.
For example, I know some women bodybuilder that abused steroids and HGH, which lead to a very manly face with extremely square jaw. I find these women very unattractive even with the huge jaw.
On the other hand, there are women like you, very feminine, with the square jaw, which represent, for me at least, the ultimate beauty.
So it's not just about the squarer the better. It's more like a complex equation between, square jaw + harmony + femininity.
And don't let anyone tell you that a square jaw is not feminine. Square jaw on men are very different than square jaw on women, in particular in the chin. It is the chin that makes a jaw feminine or masculine. I know some mongoloid ethnic populations where almost everyone has the square jaw, including women. These women are still VERY feminine and attractive.

For me it's not necessarily how square the jaw is as must as it's how muscular the jaw is. Granted most square-jawed women have stronger jaws, but what attracts me is seeing huge jaw muscles flexing as she chews her food, gum, or some lucky object that she puts in her mouth. Seeing that bulge protruding from the sides of her face, just below and to the front of her ears, as her jaw closes is like watching a porn flick to me. The further that muscle sticks out as she chews the more aroused I become! I had one girlfriend once who's jaw muscles were so large, that when she'd be talking on the phone to me, if she accidentally clenched her teeth or chewed on a piece of gum, her flexing muscle would depress the push buttons of the handset on her telephone either beeping in my ear, or hanging up the phone! She'd always be apologizing to me for it happening, as I would become ready for some "Sweet Love."
You do have a strange fetish
You do have a strange fetish that I can't understand, but more power to you for expressing your taste and I guess jaw muscles arouse sexual interest in you. They probably remind you of the sorts of things that stimulate you.
Personally, I don't like large jaw muscles at all, just a very well defined jaw line that gives the face some character and elegance at the same time. Works of art, not vulgar things, stimulate me. I certainly hope that my own jaw structure has those fine elements and doesn't remind anyone of women they see in porno movies and the sorts of things that they do. As I commented, for Ron, I think that some of the women in the galleries are absolutely gorgeous while a few others look strange to me. For me beauty is about class mostly, not my primitive senses.

Being a guy, I guess I'm more prone to "primitive senses" but the big large jaw muscles don't exactly arouse sexual interest in me the way you think they do. My true sexual fetish is freckles on a girl's face, the more and darker the freckles, the more intense my sexual desire; however getting back to strong jaws, the reason they excite me is because I like it when a woman bites into my skin as hard as she can! Trouble is, most women cannot bite very hard, which is frustrating to me. A woman who can bite very hard turns me into her "Love Slave" though, and I will do anything she asks after she leaves her deep teeth marks in my skin. Personally, I'm the real male that I do not judge women only in how they look like, will u believe or not? I have never see the jawline in the square jaw women face. every women are looked the same for me. the most I look at their face if they are goodlooking in their own way is enough. but even that the women whom lack of beauty dosen't mean they are not pretty for me. I look at their mind too ( THE MOST) even more than the face. I find everywomen are look nice, gentle and always need to get shelter and gentle from males in any cases whether she is large jaw or have bulid body. I do not like the males that like to take only the lusty from women body. I feel those guys are not real male but perhape the gay one or something? and I think that's the way for the women to look who is really real male or something else. the real males must be the son of honour.

In the case of charlize theron. I do not find she is verify good square jaw and yes she has board face for ordinary caucasian women. this type of the face I 'd call it "cooperate round face" this happened as accident. I believe all human's faces are tend to cooeprate to their body structure. charlize shape is more like " apple shape" no matter she is fat or thin but you could see the arms below her shoulders quite thick. and her original nose before plastic surgery she had up nose tip. ( and I believe her skin is quite contend fat easily) so the same to her board cheeks are more from fat. with boarded forhead, this could make her face looks more board than the true. but if you look at it carefully, you will find that u do not see any angle on her cheeksbone or jawline. in this case, if she had the narrow forhead I believe her face'd be oval. this problem, she could take botox to get her cheeks to not sack and firm.
