She loks really beautiful in this photo. As I have said before, Jennifer is not my favorite but I can not deny she has a great bone structure and an atractive face.
I always found her beautiful on account of a few features here and there, but never liked her acting very much or her methods for acquiring publicity. She is sort of a has-been now and I think she needs to explore other avenues for fame rather than singing or acting.
I found this one picture of her very flattering. Jennifer Lopez has nice hips and buttocks. With the right hairstyle, Jennifer Lopez's profile is really nice, but I never like the front view of her face too much mainly because of the way her nose looks. Her nose is sort of short and round. Also, I prefer to see women with long, swan-like necks and Jennifer Lopez has a short neck.
Persian, I think I know what you mean by swan-like necks. I happen to like them too, along with the square jaw. To be honest, Persian, in the last set of pictures you posted on this website, you seem to have a swan-like neck yourself.
Hi drmjr. If you like swan like necks, then I will give you a few links of some women who have this feature. Many of them have also been identified as square jawed women on this site.
Another thing that I want to add about this picture of Jennifer Lopez, drmjr, is that I found it flattering because it creates the illusion of Jennifer Lopez having a longer, smoother neck while, in fact, she doesn't have this feature.
By simply raising their heads and stretching their necks out, most women can create the illusion of having swan like necks in pictures, especially if volume is added to their hair.
The women whom I have identified as having long swan like necks appear to have this feature regardless of how they pose or their hair style in many of their other pictures, be they professional or candid. However, I did try to find the pictures in which their necks and jaw lines show best.
I will add another thing about my liking for swan like necks and also as they apply to the jawlines of women. As a 12 year old, I became a fan of soap operas that my mother watched, One Life To Live, and as you know, in soap operas, there are so many romantic scenes.
Susan Haskell, the last women whose picture I posted who is not square jawed, had the most visible long neck that I can remember at that time in that show and also I was being educated about the ancient Egyptians in school and so Queen Nefertiti also had the most notable neck I could recall at that age. My mother told me about the beauty of long necked women and how they look "classic." Queen Nefertiti also had a notable jawline which later intrigued me. Little by little, a long neck and a definitive feminine jawline formed the criterion in my mind for deciding if a woman is beautiful or IF I WANT TO LOOK LIKE HER.
At the time, I was struggling to lose some weight and when I noticed that I also have a visible jawline I practiced raising my head several times as characters in movies did also. Also, Walt Disney productions where a source of inspiration. I recall Princess Jasmine's jawline as she was kissing Aladdin.
However, it is interesting that men may appreciate the appearance of a woman's neck or jaw and cheekbones. In most cases, unfortunately, when I hear men talk they talk about breasts and buttocks so much and what it does for them. So is it possible for men to have a non-sexual appreciation for the way a woman looks?
I don't sexualize beauty one bit. I think beauty can be achieved through the arts by bringing out the best in what each person has. What people like more or less is based on individual tastes.
I love this - very
I love this - very beautiful, not only for shape, but position too! The hair and jaw go great together!
