Does a square jawline have anything to do with age?

I'm still in my teens and I have a square jawline. I've noticed that square jawlines usually exist in women in their 20s and above... I haven't seen many girls my age with the same facial structure... Also, when I was younger I had a roundish face but my face has thinned out over past few years [even if I've gained weight] My older sister and I have the same face shape... but hers is slightly more angular and her face was also rounder when she was younger. Some people say my face shape is weird while others think its pretty... This sight is awesome!

I think the answer is yes. Many people would like to tease a child for round face, round cheeks, because they are simply cute and kinda irrisistible to kiss. It would seem that this is a clue that a this person is a kind of attactive or perhaps charming if you will, when she or he grows older. When one reaches say 20 or over, the true beauty hidden by the fat will appear, and make the person even more irristible because of a defined square jaw, and chin. My dear, do doubt you were one of the very cute babies, and now very beautifule. You are well-endowed. Heavenly trait.

When you were younger, you would have had more puppy fat around the face, which makes the face appear plumper and rounder. I have noticed that this reduction in puppy fat usually occurs between the age of 16 and 18 years old. It is largely to do with hormone levels reaching their peak at this age. Not only do testosterone and other androgenic hormones decrease fat levels in certain areas but they also cause growth of the bones in the face during puberty, especially the jaw. The change in your facial contours is therefore partly down to the loss of puppy fat around the face but also the growth of the jaw. The skin also thins as you age but that doesnn't usually have a noticable effect on your contours until you're into your mid 20s. I have to say, you look really sexy!
