I always had a square jaw but not a square face, mainly by virtue of wider cheekbones and a high forehead. Even in the first picture, where I am smiling, it is not really widening.

From an angle, the squareness of my jaw is obvious.

So it is possible to have a squared jaw, but not a square face.
