A site for square jawed women admirers, at last !!
***Admin edit: I added you to the "WLJ beauties" group, and promoted your post to the front page"
I was pleasantly surprised to have found this website, because up until now I was utterly embarrassed about my large jaws. I was always every dentist's wet dream; for I was fortunate enough to have strong, perfectly aligned teeth that my wide jaw could accommodate.
I would be curious about your feedback. Do I qualify as a "square jawed woman" that all the hype is about on this site? My ex-boyfriend used to tease me, calling me "Jaws" and as I am from mixed ethnicity, I rarely met any other woman in Central Europe who had a similar jaw line.
Would love to hear what the experts on the subject have to say.
I never pretended that ALL square jawed women are beautiful and feminine, but miss Alaska 2011 certainly is.Symmetrical, super structured face, massive gonial angles. What you see is an optimum chewing pressure mechanism:
I always feel conscious with a square jaw. When i visited China couple years ago, i went into a salon and the lady told me she likes my features but i should get a jaw reduction. Ever since i wish i had a rounder face....
*ADMIN EDIT: Welcome to the Wlj Beauties club Mary. Members of the club are visitors of the site like you, who were selected for their beauty, enhanced by a magnificent, genuine square jaw. Indeed, your jaw is square, but there is nothing excessive, and you are a very beautiful and feminine person. Thanks for sharing the pictures, you are representative of the Asian square jawed beauty type which is in my opinion, one of the most attractive type on earth.*
Here is another picture, kindly shared by one of our square jawed beauty star: Amber.
Amber is a professional model, and her pictures never lack of artistic touch.
Good news: the square jaw holy grail was found. Let me introduce you to Ana, a visitor of this site, now member of the very select "Wlj beauties" club.
Not only is Ana beautiful, feminine and healthy looking.... she also happen to have the rare, perfect, 90 degrees jaw. It's the holy grail of the square jaw world, "the perfect square jaw", which will be proved and documented in this post. Ready ?
(PS: thanks Ana for sharing pictures and documentation)Not striking at first glance, the square jaw specialist can still guess from this picture, the square jawed structure. Impossible to deny that this face is typically feminine: eyes, skin, lips and skull shape. Notice the lustrous hairs:
Here is another native american model. Structurally speaking, her face is perfect. It's broad, square, and very feminine. But you know now that squareness is not what defines maleness (read http://www.womenlargejaw.com/square-jaw-is-not-masculine ). Her chewing mechanism is visibly supported by powerful and healthy structures. Notice the shadowy slight depression of skin just under the cheekbones and above masseter muscle attachement angle. This often happens on strong jawed women with oversized cheekbones and jaw angles and is often sought in modeling industry. How delicious. This feminine face is art. Symmetrical, proportionated, healthy and robust:
Here are new pictures from a native square jawed beauty who is a visitor of this site. It's always a pleasure to see such amazing woman proud of her beauty and square jaw. Thanks for the pictures!
Black and White images credit: Eric Rose.Same kind of skull structure as Disney's Pocahontas from previous blog entry. This face looks "noble".
There is absolutely no doubt that Disney deliberately decided to attribute a square jaw to the heroine of their motion picture "Pocahontas".
They studied square jawed women from every angles and came to this beautiful virtual beauty.
I have seen in real life some women with this rare type of jaw. It's a very specific type of square jaw, only found on some asian women, and is my absolute favorite: face is jaw centric: it seems all the head is built around this pressure machine. Jaw is extremely square, muscular and strong, yet face is delicate and feminine. Jaw line is ruler straight, teeth are naturally perfectly aligned, broad and thick. Cheekbones seem very high and projecting, face is flat, forehead small, which gives a distinct aspect to the projecting jaw box. The straight hairs with small volume emphasis the face size and structure.
I think this site deserves a jaw classification chapter :) .
Pocahontas really existed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocahontas but we don't know if she was square jawed ;)
